Effect of Emotional Regulation on Impulsivity and Anxiety Through the Mediating Role of Mindfulness

Background: Adolescence is a phase blended with various challenges and changes. How someone takes these accepts the changes (physically, emotionally, or psychologically) are major concerns of social scientists. Objective: Keeping that objective in mind, current research has been done to assess if emotional regulation leads impulsivity anxiety through moderating effect mindfulness. Method: For purpose, correlational design followed randomly 150 young adolescent females were selected from public as well private schools following similar kinds academic board (CBSE). Standardized tools pertaining emotion regulation, impulsivity, anxiety, mindfulness administered. To accomplish objectives study, apart descriptive statistics correlation coefficients was run by structural equation modeling (SEM) highlight mediating role between anxiety. Conclusion: Major findings study revealed direct suppression on whereas no such results obtained for cognitive reappraisal. Hence, proposed model partially found be significant goodness fitness index value 0.935.
